1. Purpose and preamble
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms of Sale”) exclusively govern the provision of the Premium subscription service offered in the Adermio mobile app or purchased on the adermio.com website (hereinafter “the Premium Service”).
The publisher is Antoine Munch (French sole proprietorship, “micro-entreprise”, SIRET 999 319 692 00011, 67120 Ergersheim, France — see the Legal Notice).
Any purchase of a Premium subscription implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Sale, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
2. Description of the Premium Service
In addition to the free features, the Premium Service gives access to the following features (non-exhaustive list):
- AI skincare chat, unlimited (subject to a daily quota set on the paywall)
- Fridge-to-Plate recipes (photo analysis + recipe suggestion)
- Unlimited cosmetic product substitutions with compatibility analysis
- Personalized food insights based on the food diary
- Cross-cycle reports comparing how the skin evolves across several cycles
- Automatic routine adjustment when a treatment changes
- Unlimited re-scans mid-cycle
- Weekly photo comparison with AI analysis of progress
The complete, up-to-date list is displayed on the in-app paywall or on the website’s subscription page before any purchase.
3. How to subscribe
3.1 — In the app (App Store). The Premium Service is offered through Apple App Store In-App Purchases. The transaction is processed and billed by Apple Inc. under Apple’s terms of sale.
Adermio does not receive any of the user’s banking information. Technical management (renewals, cancellations, restorations) is handled by RevenueCat Inc., Adermio’s processor.
Steps: the user views the paywall, chooses a plan and confirms with Face ID / Touch ID / Apple password. Apple charges the payment method, and Adermio activates the Premium features immediately.
Prices: displayed inclusive of all taxes, in the local currency, at the time of purchase. The exact applicable price is displayed on the in-app paywall before any confirmation.
VAT: Adermio currently operates under the French VAT exemption scheme for small businesses (franchise en base de TVA, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Adermio does not collect any VAT. Apple may, however, apply local VAT depending on the user’s country of tax residence.
3.2 — On the adermio.com website. The Premium Service may also be purchased on the website, at the end of the online analysis. Payment is processed by Stripe, Adermio’s payment service provider: Adermio neither receives nor stores any banking data.
Plans: monthly subscription (charged every month) or quarterly subscription (charged every 3 months). The price of each plan, inclusive of all taxes, and the billing frequency are displayed on the subscription page and on the payment page before any confirmation.
Steps: the user chooses a plan, enters their payment details on Stripe’s secure payment page, checks the box accepting these Terms of Sale and requesting immediate access (§5), then confirms. The full analysis report is sent by email and Premium access is activated immediately.
Access in the app: the subscription is linked to the Adermio account associated with the email address used for payment (created automatically if it does not exist), or to the account on which the user enters the personal code received by email (“I have an Adermio code”). Technical management of entitlements is handled by RevenueCat Inc., Adermio’s processor.
4. Term, automatic renewal and cancellation
4.1 — Subscription purchased in the app (App Store).
How to cancel (at any time, free of charge):
- iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Adermio Premium → Cancel Subscription
- Or directly via apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
The user keeps access to the Premium features until the end of the period already paid for. No pro rata refund is made for the unexpired period.
Adermio cannot cancel a user’s subscription on their behalf — this is done on Apple’s side.
4.2 — Subscription purchased on adermio.com.
How to cancel (at any time, free of charge, online):
- From the adermio.com/en/resilier page: enter the email address of your subscription, open the link you receive, then select “Cancel subscription”.
- Or via the “Manage or cancel your subscription” link in the confirmation email.
- Or simply by request to contact@adermio.com.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: the user keeps Premium access until that date, after which no further payment is taken. No pro rata refund is made for the unexpired period. A cancellation confirmation is sent by email.
5. Activation and right of withdrawal
The Premium Service is activated immediately after payment confirmation (by Apple for an in-app purchase, by Stripe for a subscription purchased on adermio.com).
General rule: under Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Code de la consommation (French Consumer Code), a user who is a consumer in principle has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal.
The user may nevertheless cancel at any time (§4) — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Apple refund requests: independently of these Terms of Sale, the user may at any time request a refund directly from Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple alone decides. Adermio plays no part in this decision.
6. Restoring purchases
After reinstalling the app, changing device or resetting, the user can restore their subscription from the paywall: “Restore purchases” button. Restoration is free and instant as long as the subscription is active on the Apple account used.
For a subscription purchased on adermio.com, access is linked to the Adermio account: the user simply signs back into that account, or enters their personal code again (“I have an Adermio code”).
7. Price changes
For new subscribers: Adermio reserves the right to change its prices at any time. New prices apply to new subscriptions.
For existing subscribers: in the event of a price increase, the user is notified at least 30 days before the new price applies — by Apple for an App Store subscription, by email from Adermio for a subscription purchased on adermio.com. The user may decline by cancelling before the next renewal date.
8. Service unavailability
In the event of prolonged unavailability of the Premium Service attributable to Adermio (>72 consecutive hours), the user may request a pro rata credit on the next billing, or a refund — through Apple’s procedure for an App Store subscription, or from Adermio (contact@adermio.com) for a subscription purchased on adermio.com.
Excluded: unavailability caused by third-party subcontractors (Apple, Google, Stripe, Supabase…), scheduled maintenance announced 48 hours in advance, and force majeure.
9. Liability and warranties
The Premium Service is provided “as is”. Adermio uses reasonable technical means to ensure that it operates as described, without guaranteeing that it is entirely free of bugs.
Adermio cannot be held liable for:
- individual cosmetic results (every skin reacts differently),
- adverse reactions to recommended third-party cosmetic products (consult a dermatologist if in doubt),
- interactions with ongoing medical treatment (the user must declare their treatments via the form).
The total amount of Adermio’s liability is limited, for all causes combined, to the amount paid by the user for their Premium subscription during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the dispute.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data in connection with the Premium Service is governed by the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the Terms of Sale
Adermio reserves the right to amend these Terms of Sale. Amendments apply to new purchases. For ongoing subscriptions, material changes will be notified by email and by an in-app banner at least 30 days before they take effect. The user may cancel free of charge before they take effect.
