Terms of Use

Version 2.0 — Effective as of 05/18/2026

1. Purpose of the Service

Adermio is a platform providing personalized, AI-powered cosmetic guidance, accessible through the website adermio.com and the Adermio mobile application.

The Service includes, in particular: skin analysis through automated processing of facial photographs, a personalized skin report with cosmetic routine recommendations, daily tracking of skin condition and habits, an AI skincare chat (Premium), and comparative reports across analysis cycles.

⚠️ Important: The Service is strictly informational and cosmetic in nature. It does not constitute a medical act, a diagnosis, a prescription, or a remote medical consultation. Adermio is not a medical device. If you have a skin condition or any doubt, consult a dermatologist.

2. Access Requirements

Minimum age: 16 years old (the age of digital consent in France under Article 8 of the GDPR). Minors aged 16 to 18 must obtain the prior consent of a person holding parental authority.

Capacity: the user represents that they have the legal capacity to enter into contracts within the meaning of Articles 1145 et seq. of the Code civil (French Civil Code).

Location: the Service is designed for metropolitan France, the French overseas territories, and the European Union. Use from other jurisdictions is tolerated, but the user is solely responsible for compliance with their local laws.

3. Account Creation

An account can be created using email + password (minimum 10 characters, with automatic HaveIBeenPwned leak checking), Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.

The user agrees to provide information that is accurate, truthful, and up to date. The user is solely responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. One account per person only — creating multiple accounts or sharing an account is prohibited.

4. User Commitments

The user agrees to:

  • not attempt to circumvent the Service's security measures,
  • not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to reconstruct the application's source code,
  • not use the Service for purposes that are unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or that infringe the rights of third parties,
  • not upload content (photos, text) belonging to a third party without their consent, or any pornographic, violent, or illegal content,
  • not intentionally overload the servers (DoS attacks, mass scraping).

5. License to Uploaded Content

By uploading a photo, the user retains full ownership of that photo. The user nevertheless grants Adermio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, limited to the duration of their use of the Service, to:

  • process the photo through a cloud-based AI model,
  • display it in the user's own skin report and history,
  • store it in secure Supabase storage for the retention periods set out in the Privacy Policy,
  • compare the same user's photos with one another (Day-28 and cross-cycle reports).

No public, commercial, marketing, or AI-model-training use is made of users' photos. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Premium Subscription

Certain features (AI skincare chat, fridge-to-plate, product substitutions, food insights, cross-cycle reports, unlimited re-scans) are available through a Premium subscription purchased via the Apple App Store.

Pricing, duration, automatic renewal, cancellation, withdrawal rights, and subscription management are governed by the Conditions Générales de Vente (French Terms of Sale, CGV).

7. Suspension and Termination

Termination by the user: at any time from Settings → "Delete my account" (immediate deletion of personal data, except where retention is required for accounting obligations). The Premium subscription can be cancelled through the Apple App Store (iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).

Suspension by Adermio: without prior notice in the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, fraudulent behavior, non-payment, or extended inactivity of more than 24 months (with notification 30 days in advance).

Upon termination, the user loses access to the Service and their data is deleted in accordance with Section 5 of the Privacy Policy. The user may export their data before deletion via Settings → "Export my data".

8. Service Availability and Changes

Adermio uses its best efforts to keep the Service available 24/7. However, Adermio does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and cannot be held liable for outages caused by scheduled maintenance, technical incidents affecting its service providers, force majeure events, or application updates.

Adermio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or remove any feature at its discretion. Material changes will be communicated through an in-app notification or by email.

9. Intellectual Property

All elements making up the Service (software, interfaces, source code, database, trademarks, logos, text, visual identity) are the exclusive property of Antoine Munch or his partners.

Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited and subject to the penalties provided for in Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the Code de la propriété intellectuelle (French Intellectual Property Code).

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Adermio cannot be held liable for:

  • personal decisions made by the user based on the cosmetic recommendations,
  • skin reactions resulting from the use of recommended third-party cosmetic products (Adermio does not manufacture any products),
  • interactions between recommended cosmetic products and ongoing medical treatments (the user must disclose their treatments in the questionnaire and consult a dermatologist in case of doubt),
  • indirect damages (such as loss of user data following a crash) beyond the data actually lost as a result of proven fault on Adermio's part.

Adermio's total aggregate liability, on any grounds whatsoever, is limited to the amount paid by the user for the Premium subscription over the preceding 12 months.

11. Personal Data

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. It contains all information regarding the user's rights, data processors, and retention periods.

12. Changes to These Terms

Adermio reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use. Any material change will be notified by email to the address associated with the account and through an in-app banner at least 15 days before the change takes effect.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a new version constitutes acceptance. If the user does not accept the new version, they may close their account free of charge.

13. Mediation and Dispute Resolution

Amicable resolution: in the event of a dispute, the user is invited to contact Adermio at contact@adermio.com to seek an amicable solution.

Mediation: in accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the Code de la consommation (French Consumer Code), consumer users may use a mediation service free of charge:
